Struggle (in Rictameter)

Fighting
Ghosts frightening
And haunting memories
Sending me again to my knees
Beckoning in prayer for heaven to care
While triumph in combat I seize
Sailing turbulent seas
Without drowning
Fighting

    1. Cinquain? Oh, I’ll have to look that up and try it, too! Yes, I certainly believe you could write in Rictameter verse… Do you think you’ll give it a try? I hope so. It’s fun and challenging. Blessings!

      1. Yes, I will, Jonathan, later though. Cinquain is like half of Rictameter. It’s 2, 4, 6, 8, 2. The first 2 and the last 2 echos instead of identical. There are different kinds of Cinquain forms. I only did a couple.
