⊕ Septanelle Saturday ⊕
Good to be me
Upon the rolling waves
Of this sea of life by divine decree
With much to save
Till I come home at last
Leaving behind me the withering past
All to be free
Note: The Septanelle is a verse form in seven lines with a syllable count of 4, 6, 10, 4, 6, 10, 4 and a rhyme scheme of a b a b c c a.
Well done, Jonathan. I hope things are going well with you.
Yes, things are going well, although I have some fluid build-up around the area of my hernia surgery. It’s okay, though, nothing to worry about. I think the next time I see the doctor she may want to go ahead and drain it. Hope everything is going well for you, too! Peace and blessings! 🙂
I hope the draining is not too complicated. When my lymph nodes were removed as cancer treatment, I needed draining of the fluid for a long time.
I’m trying to establish a good sleeping routine so I wouldn’t be too tired during the day. 🙂
Oh, I do hope this is over soon! Not to sound wimpy about it ~ after all, I am not really suffering ~ but fluid just keeps coming and coming and coming… Really, I pray Dr. Lim decides to go ahead and drain the area this coming Friday when I see her again. Oh, btw, she is an excellent doctor and I cannot be more thankful to be under her care.
Ah, and I hope and pray you are resting well, and in a good, healthy sleep routine. My prayers are with you and for you!
I’m glad you have an excellent doctor to care for you. It’s easing to the mind when you trust your doctor knows what to do.
Thank you for your prayers!
