Great Spirit

Spirit is free to freely move where she will through valleys and hills

Over mountain lakes, thru streams of water, in dreams of children,

Across the plains, within the pain of mortals, in healing touches,

Pealing away layers of deception for the conception of truth,

Lighting the fires of imagination in regeneration of the soul,

Remaking whole the broken man but for the token of adoration,

And Spirit collects the tears born of fear as she hears the cries,

As she moves within, without and all around, bound for anywhere,

And everywhere and nowhere because Spirit is utterly at liberty

Beloved Potter: A Dialogue

And this Artist, has he failed in love’s way; withdrawn his hand in utter dismay?
And shall you now in dismay hinder my glorious work in perfecting our splendor?

Standing in the darkness, you never notice me,
So when you look my way, dark is all you see
Cloak of black, crawling ‘neath pale moonlight,
Damned for this life from Love’s bright sight

Ah, my love, I do see you and see you are blind;
Night for me is like light, and no dark does bind
With every day and desperate breath you plead,
I hear and reach and ask you my voice to heed!

In my eyes see the dancing light; in my breath let your soul take flight
In my tears hear the song sung sweet; in my heart the very heavens beat

I dream during the day, living death by the hours,
Till night swallows again, laying waste my powers
And I curse the coming dawn; must pain reappear?
So I hide in my cave to waste away in mortal fear

But night will fly away in the breaking light of day!
Your fears disappear and clear be made my way
My precious lover of the coffin, you will yet rise
To higher sights and songs and love’s great prize!

In my eyes see the dancing light; in my breath let your soul take flight
In my tears hear the song sung sweet; in my heart the very heavens beat

The journey hear is long and weary now the road,
Ominous storm clouds and heavy the heart’s load
I long to dance in your sun, and never fear the night,
Wrapped up in your arms, and safe in your might!

My touch and my kiss and all my heart do I give
To lift your burden and shame that you might live
You are with me, child, wrapped in my embrace;
I have always loved you and out-poured my grace

In my eyes see the dancing light; in my breath let your soul take flight
In my tears hear the song sung sweet; in my heart the very heavens beat

Have I heard your voice and now felt your glance?
Shall I, perhaps, awaken into your love’s trance?
Lie weary upon your bosom, and cradled find rest?
That from this grave I should arise alive, so blessed?

Oh my weak and wounded child, cast away all fear!
Feel my heart, my life, as I catch and hold you near!
And now in ecstasy in my arms feel victory beat,
As our souls now entwine and in sweet passion meet!
Breathe into you the love I breathe and deeply adore,
And I will myself bring you home healed forevermore

Safe Within Your Love

So close, your whisper-soft of mystic sweet communion;
Your breath-hold, and I am love, secure in your womb,
Feeling your heartbeat rhythm, safe in your cocoon,
Inside from the world where we abide till eve’n tide.

Not restless from restlessness of the unsealed tombs
Of evil rising, riding, haunting to seal our doom.
Near in fear, upon the horizon does your light loom,
Piercing the burden-night, the plight, every ill-sight.

So at last when clouds so dark roll away,
Smoke clears in the break of your day;
When finally is gone the smog of despair,
Vapors of confusion dissolved in your air;
Then will I see with the eyes of my heart
That my pain and tears were but one part ~
Part of one battle, one skirmish fought
In an already won war, victory love bought.

Now, then, I breathe in life, breathe out all dying,
Inhale beautiful wisdom, and exhale all of the lying.
So, too, in-breathe your day, out-breathe his night,
Wrap myself in your arms, and dance in your light!

Beyond the Horizon ~ Will You Be There?

There’s something there, beyond the horizon –
Splash of eternity, perhaps, in brilliant light
Ever elusive, tempting, yet always inviting
My curious mind and hungry soul behold the sight

To curl up in your arms so strong, where I belong;
To lay my head on your chest, where I should rest

There’s something there, beyond the horizon –
Picture so complete and filled with beauty.
Challenging, happily inspiring and satisfying
My restless soul so weary from life’s long journey

To see your eyes so bold, not cold, my own enfold;
– heaven on earth, angelic mirth, immortal rebirth

There’s something there, beyond the horizon –
Selene light of heaven in sweet magic to calm
Storm-churned waves of earthbound life,
While Eirene to my heart applies her healing balm

Let my barricade drop to rest me in complete surrender;
Pull me tightly and hold me to your bosom so tender

Treasure

Treason of the heart in perfect season
For reason known only to the pure soul
Cleansed from stain by a graceful rain
Freed from the chain of wicked strain,
Washed of the stain of vain rebellion,
Free to be, to see and eat of the Tree,
Casting off the fetter for better life
On this plane in a sane frame of mind;
Clear Voice now to hear without a fear;
An overthrow blow to the ruling powers
To now flow in liberty hitherto unknown,
To bid farewell to hell to no more sell
One soul for parcel of peace in lease
Of mere existence for a day in the way
Of lies that fly from the Enemy bound
To hound the spirit of all who crawl
Upon this earth far from glory’s hearth;
We now know our worth in love from above
As we love because we first were loved…

So Let It Be (SOC)

I long to speak your name in love and sing your way to joy unbounded
In fields of green so serene, with water brooks flowing nearby
Glowing silver among slivers of gold in untold rapture of love
Unceasing, caressing the world in peace unleashed from souls
Woven into finest tapestry — all one — like children playing
Round Maypole, holding hands and dancing, prancing with deer
In sheer exultation of jubilation in this new year without fear,
When we sing a new song where we all belong and long for heaven
On earth, rebirth of what once was dead, now resurrected
Of new dawning when fawns lie down with lions and the adder is
But another ladder of joy for babes’ hands in holes in the ground
To sounds of delight in light shining under brilliant sun
Just begun to rise in high sky where the eagles fly with doves
And angels sing above, raining down feathers of emerald blessing,
Pressing pleasure into every soul that trods the sod and swims the sea
… So let it be
… So let it be

Speck of Dust In Joy

And the sun still rises, after moon and stars shine at night by the same light;
And I cannot help but wonder here below why you even bother to look my way today?
And I know I am but the son of Ḥawwāh, speck of cosmic dust hardly worth your sight;
And yet in your faithful love, Selene so serene, do I trust to guide along life’s way.

Here stand I, then, confident and secure without a murmur,
Ready to leap and dance, hold to your passion to keep…

Rejoice in you, Lady Love, rejoice in me; I once was blind but now I see;
Once did mourn but now I sing; dance in you in the joy you bring!

But sun ne’er shines on the wicked blind, whom the innocent in torment bind;
Oh, no, the ground is marsh for those so harsh; sinking in sickness all their kind,
And kindred, too, as you carry your lover-child to leave such cruelty behind;
Oh, no, I will not remain in isolated desolation, but run in freedom unconfined.

Here stand I, then, confident and secure without a murmur,
Ready to leap and dance, hold to your passion to keep…

Rejoice in you, Lady Love, rejoice in me; I once was blind but now I see;
Once did mourn but now I sing; dance in you in the joy you bring!

Sélená of Truth, O heavenly Dove; celestial Spirit of Wisdom from heaven above,
Radiate in poignant power your beacon light, spread your wings; dispel the night.
Enflame my heart with holy fire that in your love-work your lover ne’er may tire;
Ah! But nurture and fill me with powerful peace; my praise of you ne’er will cease!

Here stand I, then, confident and secure without a murmur,
Ready to leap and dance, hold to your passion to keep…

Rejoice in you, Lady Love, rejoice in me; I once was blind but now I see;
Once did mourn but now I sing; dance in you in the joy you bring!

Battle: Once More

Your chest is tight, full of fright
But you fight cause you know you’re right,
But then the light grows dim
And life seems grim and dreary,
And you grow so weary of the fight;
You take flight into the night…
And there it is, the draught of poison
To take that will make everything better,
Even though you’ve been taught not to sip
Or even let it touch your lips,
But you’re caught between pain and confusion
And the illusion of sleep that will keep
You in peace or at least give you rest
Even if it is in the arms of the beast,
So you lose all might, forget what is right,
Move to the goblet in sight, and you drink…
Blight fills your soul,
Your face turns ashen white,
And you hit the floor to fight no more…
At least until you wake again to take sword
In hand once more to face the same battle as before,
Once more

Watch

Take care! They whisper in your ear, though inaudible
Your soul can hear, and your very heart sheds a tear,
And your spirit quakes in fear as they sear your mind
And bind you to your lower self behind numinous bars

Watch

Images fly across your mental screen, scene after scene,
As the harlot queen stakes her claim seemingly so serene,
And you choke on the refuse of your sordid imagination
In gestation of the summation of every wicked temptation

Watch

Stand tall in your inner-self else you fall to siren call,
And take heed to every need and feed on what is right
And just and bright before they punch a hole in your soul,
And leave you for dead in the dead of an esoteric night

Watch

Arise

Engulfing darkness pulsing with death, breath of hell,
And the bell rings and brings stench of corruption
In eruption of the fate of all humanity in calamity

But I arise to claim my prize

Overwhelming waves, pelting rain, pending our doom
In the gloom of night without light, fatal plight
Of destination in damnation by ever slow gradation

But I arise to claim my prize

Bottomless pit, ominous sounds in somnolence of soul
Emptied across the sands of time by wandering band
Of sordid dæmons uncorded now but awarded their end

But I arise to claim my prize

Arise!
