Hope is a little word but strong;
Hope is a bird that brings song
Into our heart and only departs
When we stop singing
And no longer cling to her,
But hope is ever ready to return
To light fire in our souls to burn
Away the dross of despondency;
Hope is what keeps us all afloat;
Hope is a well-built, sturdy boat;
In the symphony of all life itself,
Hope is the key note . . .
Hope is a little word but strong
Indeed. Hope has been the only thing that kept my head above water on several occasions.
I can certainly identify… Hope is keeping my head above water even now, at this point in my life. (And this is probably why I wrote the poem this morning.) Thank you so very much for your comment, Will! All the best to you with peace and blessings!
As long as you write about it, I’ll read. If I ever feel you’re sinking, I’ll offer a hand. There is always hope π
Thank you very much! π
Awesome! Simple Pisces of hope all around us each day!
