Did I lose your love
Precious Dove,
Fallen from above?
Oh, can I regain
Once again
One who has been slain?
Will you have mercy
Toward me;
Will you hear my plea?
In this universe
Life grows worse,
With love the inverse.
Please come back to me,
Wild and free;
May we now agree?
Can you see my pain
With no gain,
And my blackened stain?
Come again and stay
In your way,
I do hope and pray!
Nice work
Thank you so very much! π
wonderful ; ))
Thank you, Jyotee! π
You are becoming a master of this form. You own it now. Brilliant again.
Thank you so very much! I did enjoy writing, not only because of the “lune challenge,” but because it came from the heart. π
You are most welcome, my dear
I too have been set this challenge…not done yet, by our friend Manan…your masterly work is an inspiration to me…Love the imagery and I can feel your heart in every line…Bravo!
Thank you, Krysia (?) so very much! I thoroughly enjoyed writing this piece and, yes, my heart is definitely in every line. Peace and blessings to you!
…and also to you my friend. Yes, the name is Krysia, short for Krystyna. My parents were both Polish immigrants, came to Britain after the 2nd War and Monte Cassino… Shalom. π
Ah! Very interesting, indeed, and I’m most happy that I got your name right! π π
looks like there is a format? in lune
3 lines n last 2 rhymes? (just curious)
Actually three lines with the first (1st) and third (3rd) having five (5) syllables and the second (2nd) only three… Rhyming is optional. lol π So the format is three (3) lines in 5/3/5 syllables, and for some unknown reason it’s called a “lune.” lol π
Yes, nice π
Thank you! π
